Visiting Faculty

Sitka, AK | Spring 2024 or Summer 2024

Outer Coast seeks faculty to develop and teach engaging and innovative college-level courses. We invite applications for courses in STEM, humanities, and the social sciences. Faculty will be aided by a Teaching Assistant, who will assist in teaching and supporting students both in and out of the classroom. In addition to teaching the course, faculty will collaborate with the TA and will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Outer Coast and Sitka communities. Faculty and TAs will be supported by the Outer Coast leadership and staff. All students take courses with Visiting Faculty members alongside an Indigenous Studies course taught by Outer Coast Indigenous Studies Chair Yeidikookʼáa Dionne Brady-Howard.
