Thank you for your interest in staying involved as an Outer Coast alum!

There are numerous ways to continue to engage with your peers, other alumni, and Outer Coast more broadly after your program. Some ways alumni have remained an active part of our community include: helping with recruitment for future Outer Coast programs, serving as interns or support staff at Outer Coast programs, creating alumni newsletters, and managing the alumni network Instagram. Alumni can also be part of the OC Alumni Network Committee to coordinate events with other alums and develop ways to help alumni stay in touch with each other and the institution. Given the OC Alumni Network is in early stages (launched in the fall of 2021!), you should feel empowered to create opportunities where you do not see any — the idea probably just hasn’t been thought of yet!

As an alum, you will soon have access to the alumni directory and additional Outer Coast resources, like a letter of recommendation request form and a resource database with scholarships, jobs, and educational opportunities. You can also feel free to share opportunities with other alums by emailing the Outer Coast Alumni constituency at outer-coast-alumni@outercoast.org or by emailing info@outercoast.org so that a member of the Outer Coast team can share it. The current Alumni Network formally communicates through Instagram, which you can find at @outercoastalumni.

If you would like to get involved as an alum in a more formal way, such as with an internship or committee position, don’t hesitate to reach out at info@outercoast.org.

If you took an Outer Coast course for credit and would like to request an official APU transcript, you can do so here.
